10th Annual Riding Into History Concours d' Elegance

Riding Into History is one of America’s premier Concours d’Elegance for motorcycles. It is held annually in mid-May at the beautiful World Golf Village, near St. Augustine, Florida, and it attracts thousands of spectators to view the hundreds of motorcycles on display.

Proceeds from the event benefit charities, and the staff consists of unpaid volunteers from BMW Owners of Northeast Florida, the Historic Motorcycle Society and other supporting organizations. Well over $200,000 has been contributed to breast cancer charities in the 10 years that Riding Into History has been held.

The motorcycles shown in this book were on display at the 10th Annual Riding Into History, held on May 19, 2009. These and other entrants, along with the outstanding venue, have drawn consistent praise over the years.

Peter Egan, editor of Cycle World said, “The big shaded circular promenade at World Golf Village is the best place I've ever seen for a bike show.”

Dennis Gage, producer and host of Speed TV programs noted, “With the World Golf Village as its backdrop, this is the premiere motorcycle Concours d'Elegance in North America.”

Perhaps Motorcycle Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter summed it up best when he said, “A good cause, good people and good bikes. It doesn't get any better than that."
