1929 Chevrolet AC Phaeton

1929 Chevrolet AC Phaeton

This car made its first appearance at a Concours this year following completion of a 5 year, 3,700 hour restoration by the current owner.

This was the first year for the “Stovebolt Six” engine, a right hand drive and is also Phaeton, a very rare body style by 1929.

It was originally built in Buffalo, NY then shipped in parts to Uruguay for reassembly and delivery to the US Embassy, British Honduras where it served for 18 years.

Taken at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival.

You may purchase a print in our dElegance 2015 online gallery.
