1933 Volvo PV654

1933 Volvo PV564

This was Volvos first luxury car and with the induction of both standard and deluxe models, the major changes from the previous generation were softer lines, a gently sloped front grille, sloped windshield and a rounder body. The idea for two versions of the same model came from the way American cars were being offered in the US.

The Deluxe version was offered in many different colors, or for an extra fee any color the buyer wanted. PV654 had a more lavishly upholstered interior, dual side mounts, two chrome plated horn trumpets, twin brake and rear lights and foldable rear seat armrests.

Production ran from 1933 to 1934 for a total of 361.
