1949 Jaguar XK 210

A Homologated Factory racer, the #1 Homologation car, verified as a production date automobile.  The car had to average 120 MPH for 24 hours, but achieved 138 MPH, making it the world’s fastest production car at the time.  6 Years later in 1954 a similar Jaguar won a NASCAR race in New Jersey.

Taken at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival.
