Fulton is a town in Aransas County, Texas located just east of Rockport with a population of about 1,600. According to Wikipedia artists have long found a rich subject matter in the Fulton shrimp boat fleet and after my visit I can see why!
Many of the boats here are actually Oyster boats. The Shrimp Boats like the one in this image are also set up for Commercial Live Shrimping, an even more challenging aspect of the trade!
