1929 Cord L29 Cabriolet

1929 Cord L 29 Cabriolet

Made a trip up to Hilton Head Concours again this year and as in the past it was amazing.  I used to be able to get a Media Pass for this event but as with the Amelia Concourse they decided my work is just not good enough to merit that type of access to the field.  Unlike Amelia this is a reasonably priced show however and not being so crowded it is well worth a visit to do some shooting.

In addition to being the first American Production car to feature front wheel drive the L29 Cords have to be one of the most beautiful cars produced. It was originally introduced as a gap filling model priced between the Cord Corporations Auburn and Duesenberg lines.

Approximately 1,200 convertible coupes were originally produced but less than 300 of all types of the L-29 still exist today.

You may purchase a print in our dElegance 2017 online gallery.
